I must tell you that I changed the recipe of sugar paste, one that I used before did not have much elasticity and above often stuck at the table, I leave you the recipe I will use from now on, and pastry Valentina Gigli, published in the paper Alice cuisine:
1kg icing sugar 55ml water
16gr 115gr gelatin
liquid glucose 20 g glycerin
You soak the gelatin in water for ten minutes, once softened add the glucose and glycerin and heat to a bathroom maria the mixture until it becomes completely liquid, I recommend not to boil, I did it in the microwave, about 600w for 20 seconds, I pulled out the the composite mixing bowl and put it back for about ten seconds left.
At this point you put in the global sugar sifted adding the liquid mixture, you start at low speed until the dough divirrà hard, I used the hook, but is just as well in the blender with the cutter .
Now you can proceed to color and work as you like!
The gelatin powder is recommended that I not having, I used one sheet and I found myself still fine.
